Hi there!!

Doing an EG/K20 swap, and what I have read about axles probably OEM axles would hold up best.

As I live in Sweden we don’t have the RSX here so I wonder if the EP3 have the same axles as the RSX?

And what I understand about the OEM axles is that I need one pair of RSX/EP3 axles and one pair of DC2 axles, with some labour to make it fit, right??

Basically, you are going to replace the part of the ep3 axles that connects to the eg wheel with the b series one and add the K series outer hub on the other b series axle.

You might have problems getting the ep3 to fit directly. In that case you are going to have to try the prelude/h22/h23 shafts.

Also consider buying them from here as well. It cost me $120 to ship a set of axles to australia form here... + the cost of the axles... So figure around $500 shipped to you for hasport/hybrid racinf or profab axles.

There is an article that will appear around june/july in honda tuning magazine. Once it is not sold anymore, I will post the complete article in here. Meanwhile, ask me whatever questions you have. I can help you but cannot post pics publically before they appear on the magazine.

ok, so base RSX axles are EXACTLY the same as the EP3?

how about Type S axles? ... are those the same as the EP3? ... and 04+ ep3 axles? ... the same?

manual, auto axles = the same? ... (sorry for the millions of questions, but I'm gonna be needing axles very soon and I only know that ep3 axles will work for my em2, but I wanna be able to use alternatives if I can't find ep3 ones)

so you are saying H22 shafts on both side not just the driver side
No.

for EK with hasport mounts
drivers side- stock k series inner hub, and shaft, with outter b series hub.
pass side- stock b series outter hub, prelude shaft(92+), k series inner.

for EG with hasport mounts (no prelude axle needed)
drivers side- stock k series inner hub, and shaft, with outter b series hub.
pass side- stock b series outter hub, k series shaft and k series inner hub.
