Damn...I can't believe I'm having all kinds of problems with my K20A2 EG swap. I got a stage 1 axles and barely got the car running for 2 days now. The axle boots are leaking. Is it because they're over filled with grease and leak due to heat and pressure? or Are they just poorly manufactured? Has anyone had this problem and are there any good fix for it?

look closely at the boots....

see if there are cuts in them that look like someone sliced them with a razor blade.

If that is the case.. Which i have seen with the road race car... the boots are swelling from heat and pressure and that is their release.....

No cuts on boots...I can see it comming out between the hub and boot where the metal clamp is. It seems like the clamp wasn't put on tight enough and with pressure, heat, and the axles spinning while the car is moving caused the grease to come out. I think it was poorly manufactured.

The thing is I paid $400 dollars for a shitty product and I don't want to pay more just to fix the problem that shouldn't be there to begin with. The axles are still under warranty. I bought them 1 month ago and just put them on this past weekend...drove it 3 times and grease leaking everywhere.

Well then, make the call and see what their response is. After that post the name so we know who your dealing with. After all is said and done, if they take care of you then good job for them, if not then everyone will know. Post the name and document the progress if you ask me.

Things like this happen. If I were you I would just buy a new clamp and the special tool for it. You can do this in 20 min ( at the most) without removing the axle. I would still call the company and see what they can do for you if you don't want to remove the axle. (extended warrany would be nice, just make sure they give it in writing though). Now if you don't care about removing the axle then call them up and get a new one.

My DSS axels boot has ripped and leaked 3 times aready, and to make things worst my driver side axel does not go all the way in so my tranny oil leaks all the time, i explained it to them and they pretty much told me that it is not the problem , meanwhile i see it with my own eyes, i will post a pic a lil later.
