i bought 2 passenger side axles (1 type-s, 1 gsr). i removed the inbound of both axles, then placed the type-s inbound onto the GSR axle. did i do that right?

the part number for the midshaft is 44500-SCV-A00. should hit up [email protected] for mad prices on OEM parts :)
thanks for that. got it at my local dealer.

yeap, backwards

just as you said but

- use the type s axles
- swap the inners on the type s axles
- use the outers (hub end) from the gsr axle on the type s axles

hope that makes sense
that makes sense. i just swapped the wrong end. do i need to change the bearings and everything in the inside of the boot as well? or can i just change the cup???

just to be safe, since i swapped the wrong end. lol. i swap the cups thats on the white paper that goes to the hub right?

^yes you want to swap outside part as your car has smaller spline/hub

on side note i have been beating on base rsx axles from autozone for awhile with no issues, no swapping anything what so ever. go to autozone pay $120 for two axles, slap them in, beat on them till they break and exchange with lifetime warranty when they do. quite few others on here run same GSP advance/ autozone axles also. just dont tell autozone its a swapped car it will void warranty, just say you have a base rsx.
these are from auto zone. :frage: smh.lol. the type s is life time warranty and the gsr is refurbished. this whole time all i needed was rsx base? well lesson learned.
I've heard of swapping inners with rsx 32mm and 36mm but you're doing it with a B-series axle? this is news to me.

if the lengths work out and there isn't any binding then go for it.

OP, you cant obtain a pair of OEM 32mm rsx base axles?
^^^how did i miss this??? so thats all i need is rsx base?

just to be safe, since i swapped the wrong end. lol. i swap the cups thats on the white paper that goes to the hub right?
what did I do wrong here? this is way harder than I thought it would be. So I took both axles to the shop to swap out the spline that goes into the hub and it wouldn't work because the type s axle is to big for the gsr to fit. please help. thanks
pm returned. just get a set of base model rsx axles and slap them in.
LOL........ Return those 2 axles and get BASE RSX AXLES.
hahaha, clear cut answer. thanks, im about to return them and get the base. lol
