right info.

here,s were i am upto.. with the 4.765 front ratio the rear needs to be 2.404.1
so at 8000 rpm both front and rear shafts rotate at 1309 rev per minute.
i wont 50/50 full time 4wd. i will use a solid prop with a sprag clutch fastened to the front of the diff. this is a lock one way and freewheel device. it will disengage when of the gas,

problem here in the uk they want 2600 uk pounds to make 1 ring gear and pinion.

i want to use one of the bmw diff maybe e46 as you can fit a lsd into them later

57 trim.. is there anywhere in the usa you know could make such an item cheaper.i would buy one and maybe you will need one.

i dont know if you are aware but using the crv or wagon rear the front wheels at 8k are rotating 1309 times a minute but the rear are rotating at 1240. so something like a 60f 40r split. this work because of the diff plates but will not work with a solid drive. but fitting a rear diff with a ratio of 2.404.1 is bang on...it would need to be as close to 2.404.1 as possible. ideally 2.404.1 is a perfect match..

just for ref a 2.40.1 rear rotates the shaft at the rear 1311 times where a 2.404.1 is 1309 same as front.

equation front 8000rpm x .78 6th divided by 4.765 final is 1309
rear 8000 divided by 2.3 front dif then divided by 1.1052 transfer gears and the divided by 2.404.1 is 1309 rear shafts

Right the above is wrong lol.
Looking at it again it is not possible to get the crv drivetrain to run 50/50.why?.
If you use 1.0 ratio i the box 4th i think.then the front equation is.
8000rpm ÷ 4.765 =1679 driveshaft rotations
now rear
8000 rpm ÷2.3 diff÷1.1052 tbox..is something like 1369 rotations.
The rear diff would need to be 1.9.1 lol
I suspect that even with the rear diff fully locked on the viscous
It would be like 70f 30r

any thoughts lol..
