Hi, this may sound like a dumb Q but I just want to be sure before i purchase this engine.

I called up on this engine for a good price. It is a AT K24a1 w/broken IM & TB. I asked the guy if it had all of the sensors and he informed me that it has the sensors but since it was an automatic and Im putting a MT (k20a2 tranny on it that the sensors are different. Im not that knowledgable about sensors and that buisness but Id like to know if this is the correct engine for my swap ? The guy informed me that 99.9% of crv's were AT's when I asked him, so im thinking that this is the engine that is correct for me. I was quoted $800, watcha think ?

p.s. I plan on putting a k20a2 head, IM and TB on it.

Thanx a bunch

I found online from car-parts.com a k24a longblock with only 1000 miles and they wanted $1000 shipped. Therefore, I think what you are looking at, should be less than $800. It doesn;t matter if you are not planning to use the head... You shouldn't have to pay for it.
My opinion of course,

Nikos.
