Comptech requires drilling, strut kings does not. It keeps the stock height which I would like, so why do you say it sucks rbsjnh?

changes the angles by which shifter mechanism works....causes transmissions to grind and wear early....no prove-able gain possible....meaning will not lower et's or lap times....

so imo cause more harm than good, therefore it sucks....

and yes I still have it and use it...but I wouldn't encourage anyone to buy it

and my name is Rich....nice to meet you:up::up:

Hey what's up man, my name is Freddy. So what would you reccomend to someone who wants shorter throws but maintain stock height? Or should I just stick with the OEM stock one?

I'm running the comptech short shifter and it looks nearly identical to the one you posted.

The gains for me were basically improving shift confidence which was a big deal during quick shifting on a road course. It also makes it easier/quicker shifting from 4-5.

Daily driving, makes no difference. Aggressive/track driving, it does help shifting.

I probably should just test it out for myslef, every car is different and the strut king ss is not that expensive. If it doesn't work out, I could always sell it.
