Yes the 06-08 head will work just fine. I've had both 04/05 and 06-08 head castings side by side and the casting is exactly the same. It's amazing how much an intake came revision and oversized intake valve could wake up an engine.

Thank you for the info I ended up swapping the 04 valves into the 06 head and it fired right up I have a misfire now that i had before it’s random and sounds like one Cylinder I ruled out coil, compression and injectors I’m stumped

K24a with RBB-2 or RBB-3 head is 197hp same as USDM 04-05 tsx. All k24 blocks share the RAA casting stamp as far as I know.

i see, thank you. What about the 200hp + variants from odyssey absolute for example? They have 11:1 compression ratio and 203 hp, how do they differ from the "k24a2" version?

*Also,

european K24A3, which is the same as early k24a2 is rated for 190 hp. Shouldn´t they be the same as USDM K24A2 04-05?

per the Wiki this isn’t exactly right on the JDM K24a from the Odyssey.

it shows the RBB-2 makes 187 while the RBB-3 makes 203. also shows the RBB-2 has slightly lower compression.

Yes, because of the IM (RBB vs RAA) it has to be different.

Well, definitely possible. The IM's are different. Maybe other stuff like cams too? Who knows what the goals of Honda were, maybe efficiency, which would mean VTC and IGT would be also different. Just thinking loud.

I'm having an issue now with my JDM K24a...bought tuner2 cams from Skunk2 that are supposed to fit any k24, but ... looks like there's not enough clearance for the valves. Fun times all around...
