car is ek
a4 2.4 block built
rcrew head
xcessive manifold
stock rsx type s throttle body
omni tps sensor

car sat for a long time. when i started it up about 1.5 months ago, the car ran good for a week, and then it wouldnt rev. sent out my omni tps and they replaced it.

Put my new tps in, and cranked and drove the car mabey a total of 20 times if even that, and yet again, the car will rev to about 3,000 or 4,000 rpm and cut off and lose its throttle comepletely.

Same symptoms it had when the omni TPS went the first time.

shouldnt be anything else related to it, cuz if it was any sort of faulty wiring, the new tps wouldnt even work for a week or two.

Anyone else have input?....about to be on my 3rd tps in 3 months.

Hmmm....heres the thing

when i got my kpro from hondata, and we plugged it in when we tuned it, it threw a (Interior Module Malfunction) if im not mistaken, and the check engine light stayed on, but besides that, the datalog and everything else worked fine, so we tuned the car.

When i plug the kpro in, it only shows that one error code (module malfunction), but it has been showing that for over a year now, and the car went down the track numerous times without a problem.

other then that, i checked all the wiring to the harness. I broke my shrink wrap loose and checked the tps wiring, and everything seems in tact.

if i throw on a brand new TPS Sensor right now, or a used Working tps sensor, the car will run perfect. but thats my 3rd sensor now in less then 2 months or so...

Try this
I had the same symptoms man!
I bet its your TPS sensor that needs calibrating!
With engine shut, key to ignition,
Go to Kmanager, parameters>knock/TPS>SCALE TPS> press read in the "minimum reading" with your throttle closed then press the gas pedal to fully open the throttle and press read for the "maximum reading".

You are set!

We calibrated the sensors already. I was driving the car for a week, and then when I took it out garage this weekend it won't rev under load. When in neautral it goes all the way to redline. And 2 step also won't work. It bounces off my 2 step once and dies down

OP: Omni is having/ does have issues... we sell a ton of them and over the past few months we have been taking many back in exchange for new ones.

Omni Power claims that new product is just around the corner and that the problems they have been having should go away.

your warranty is voided if the omni sticker is removed correct?
Yes it is, but they are simply relabeled stock TPS sensors. The reason why they state if the sticker/label is removed the warranty is voided, is there is no way to differentiate between a stockie and the Omni without the label.
