its best to ask for, or to see previously tuned customers of your prospective tuner, and then ask them, and your tuner, some questions.
there are a lot of "tuners" who really don't know shit.
then there are "tuners" who are really good, no matter what the management system... then again ign and fuel tuning is mostly the same for all systems, its just how u go about doing the changes and the ancilliary extras included w/ the system is what takes time and expierence to learn how to use properly
whoever you decide to go to, talk to them first and see if you feel their vibe...if not, its your expensive motor, so u are free to go to whomever you want.. I always get defensive if people try to sell me parts, or tell me that something is "bad, but when you use ____ it gets much better" and those types of sales pitches. these are usually the ppl that don't know shit except making $ off you.
Hondata should have an "authorized dealer" list on their site - for the most part these should be competent shops with a dyno, or with access to one - probably your "safest" bet
