No one here touched on the fact that E85 has different gas to ethanol ratio/percentages throughout the year. During the winter in some areas it is considered E70. I don’t know how drastic that is on an all motor car (tune wise). Tuning on E85 and using E70 in the winter could make you run rich or tuning in the winter on E70 and using E85 in the summer could make you run lean, due to the higher gas percentage (70% Ethanol, 30% gas).

Thats true. You can get a tester for pretty cheap and test the local pumps during the winter to see what blend they run. In Colorado people were getting winter blends around 75% ethanol, but last couple winters the stations havent changed and stayed with the summer blends all year around :up:. It's worth it to check and see what's actually being put in the pumps.
