Hi guys, my race car 1900lbs k24/k20, has a power of 275whp 200ftlbs 8800rpm with type s trans.

I know most like to have fd 4.4 on their k24 all motor, this will leave them not shifting to fifth.
But speaking of 1/8 mile that only the first 3 Gear will be used, which fd would be better 4.4 or 4.7? 23 or 24.5?
With my build and light car setup, i plan to run 7' low

Hi for that power go with that combo!!

24.5x9x13 slicks with a 4.7 final drive...For gear set speaking go with 06-10 si gearing inside your 02-04 rsx casing.

Those kind of combo have been around for a lot of time and it work great.I have myself this configuration a in few engine setup on my car(drag race application)

How is your sedan doing ? I’ve been watching your race videos on YouTube for awhile lol. Still running 10s or have you chased into the 9s yet ? 😎

What’s the engine setup to make 275? Must be pretty fast 👍

I was thinking about that, stay at 4.7 and start with 23 and then 24.5, I'm looking to accelerate the fastest is only 1/8 mile

Iam running a full euro R setup on my MR2 with a 9000 rpm limiter with 24.5.I think with your limiter if you going to go any smaller than 24.5 you might have to select 5th before the line.

Oh i see you only want todo 1/8


Best i did was 7.70 @ 147 kph 24.5s at the drag strip
my average is 8.0 to 8.1 @145 kph this i do on the street with street tires.

This is with my setup making similar power to you but mid engine obviously.

my average is 8.0 to 8.1 @145 kph this i do on the street with street tires.

This is with my setup making similar power to you but mid engine obviously.
is it a civic eg? how much does it weigh?
