is the jdm accord type r motor equivalent to a k20a head and k24 block? is it more superior? does anybody know the differences between the two?

I believe the Accord Euro R is a K20A???

Yep, it's a K20A. Puts out 215hp standard due to minor intake/exhaust differences.

I was told it does have a TSX style K24 head with the true 2 lobe v-tec...

but it is a 2.0 liter block, not the same head as the K20a though...

so would you guys say the euro accord type r engine is exactly like the integra type r k20a but with better intake and exhaust??
