im converting my a3 head into an a2 i got the whole rocker assy and cams and everytihng and also picked up a set of stock a2 valve springs and retainers. but my question is the a3 springs are alot skinnier than the a2 ones will the a2 ones still work or should i just keep the a3 ones in. but then i was thinking i might float the valves cause the springs might be to thin... any help would be appreciated. thanks.

You will not be able to have the same Vtec as the A2 does, there is no provision in the A3 head for the LMA's.

You can use the A2 springs, but you will need to swap out the valve spring seats and valve seals as well.
