So I just installed my aftermarket header and test pipe on my Accord, and when I go about 30% throttle, it whistles. It whistles from 2k on to 7k, and it’s slightly annoying. When I got my header, there was this sorta ring gasket, which I didn’t use as my test pipe came with a flat gasket. I am sure that everything is tight. I also have a gutted air box with a cone filter on the bottom. Before the header, my intake howled, and it still does, just not as much. Could it be the intake or should I just go ahead and install the ring gasket?

Edit: I found out the whistling is caused by the ribbed design of the flex pipe. It can be fixed by installing a smooth inner flex pipe
