I recently performed a 6th Gear TSX swap on my EP3. Now 6th Gear pops out. It doesn't grind but pops out after a few seconds. If you lightly rest your hand on the stick shift it stays in gear without popping out.

I verified part numbers and I installed the correct needle bearing as I've read this has been an issue before.

Anyone have any idea on what could cause this? Any help would be appreciated.

Hey there!

Take your shift boot off and see if in 6th gear the shifter mechanism is bottom out on the bottom of the rod or the assembly. Possible stretched shift cables?
