Well I finally got my k20a3 dynoed over the weekend and here are the results.
This is a before after comparison from the stock k20a3 cams vs. k20a2 cams.
I went with the k20a3 exhaust rocker set-up, i think i'm herd about it being used other places, i think* this might be one of the first times results have been posted from a a3. The rest of the engine is stock internally.

I've actually been running this set up for a little over a month now (~1100miles) and have had no problems at all.
ok i run the k20a2 intake and exhaust cam with the k20a2 rocker arms modified to run vtec properly what is the difference betwwen my set up and yours is there any advantage of running it your way without the low cam
damn, after all the work i did to do an a1 headswap on my a3 block with skunk2 stage II cams and I only hit 180 with a PRC intake manifold, 3in intake, dcrh, and small 2.25in exhaust. I should have just done something like this with the a1 head. Maybe I will try porting my a3 head and trying this. So explain this, did you do any swapping order of the exhaust side rockers? Or is it just plain a2 cams on the exhaust side.
u make less hp and tq below 4700rpm with this setup than your stock k20a3 that is why i use the k20a2 rocker arms modified for vtec so you run on the low cams till 4700 and then switch to the high cam to get a better powerband how ur idle do u have a vid
I'm now measuring the main clearances on a k24 using a .001" bore gauge and .001" micrometer.
The vertical height of the first main is .013". The first main measured with the bore gauge rotated to 3:30 aka approx. 105*, reads .021". The bore gauge is definitely reading correctly; the tangs/oil...

Been a long few weeks... I just put a k20A type r motor I bought from a reputable shop in my car. Its the second one of these engines Ive had in it.
It has been running great all week.. the motor is super quiet and sounds amazing.

K24a2 swap into a Toyota Supra chassis. Running Megasquirt EVO. Dyno is a Dynapack using no correction factor. Uncorrected dyno numbers are 180hp/135tq.
Cam timing is spot on. Injectors were cleaned. New spark plugs. Good compression.
