08 TSX HELP!!!! electric power mr2 spyder pump and breaking racks

i followed all the diy on the wiring for the electric power steering pump. found on the internett forums from k20.org org and hondatech, as well as other forums. for some reason this pump blows out my rack in the same place both times. i have even purchased another oem rack and still the same issue happens. the pump blows out the connector that goes into the rack on the right side where the part number stamp is on a 08 tsx 6speed

does anyone know what pwm controller voltage is needed to trick the pump into think your going a certain speed so it not always on flull blast?
