Ok so a couple of months back I swapped a k20z3 into my 06 civic lx (auto). The lx power steering works with a pump and the si is electronic. So what I did was remove the idler pulley and replace it with a rsx ps pump with the rsx belt. I'm using the hybrid racing ps pump fitting with a stainless steel braided line, there is a fitting welded right before the pressure switch on the rack. I have a squealing noise when turning as if the pump is bad. So I got the pump rebuilt but the noise is still there. What could be causing this noise? Any ideas would be great.

Checked for slipping and it's fine. It makes the noise when you turn the wheel.

Thats when it would slip on a turn. I would try to flush the fluid first. Then if that fails, try a known good pump.

Is it hard to turn when it squeals?
I've use nothing but honda ps fluid from the get go. Had my pump rebuilt and also tried another rebuilt pump, still the same problem. Works perfectly fine when it squeals.
