I get to ask the most stupid questions of all of us. Newbie K20 member with new ride already unimpressed with his d17, wanting to swap to a k20a. Is this possible? Dart block okay? I want to piece this one together myself. Money isn't plentiful, it's just there. Best parts/brands(Dart block?, Crane cams/gears?, etc.) Just getting started. Someone advise, everyone else laugh.

yes. its been done. 01-05 civics are all the same.

best parts you should really do a search.
and the money needs to be plentiful if you are planning to do such serious mods to the engine.

plan on spending a lot of $$$$$$$! there are a few cars with this swap, ive seen them on honda-tech and in some show pics, but its possible and like that guy said, have lots o' dough for mods

i refer everyone to this thread. lots of good info. hawk is the man over there. good luck and if you look hard enough you will find some good deals. i spent about 6k on my first swap with parts and install. too bad i blew, but now im going k24a2 tsx motor and swapping it myself.
