Yes it is possible, d17a2 is what you have, and the transmission is on the opposite side.

You have alot of stuff to do. You got to research that.

It makes some difference. You will need to do some wiring to get your reverse lights to work and add some wiring to go from park/neutral safety switch to a clutch safety switch for the starter signal. Then there are some other wiring differences at plug C101 that interfaces with the engine harness. Not too big a deal though.

Yeah the cluster is optionial but I would'nt live with the cluster, saying P, R, N, D, D2 ect. but you know what I mean.

In the engine it's cams, valve springs, pistons (compression ratio), intake manifold, ECU, rods probably.

In the tranny - LSD, final drive, and I think the first three gears.

You can buy type S swaps for $3500 and Type R for $5000- $5500.
