It appears I may have accidentally listed an OEM shift knob as a DC5R titanium when in fact it may be aluminum. Please look at my thread, maybe you know the specific differences in the meantime I will look into this matter. Do whatever you see fit with the thread, if you want to delete it that's fine, or you can leave it. I am not a Scammer...that's not how I roll...thanks.

alright, sick. so i will just swap the internals out, and simply re-use my shifter arm on the trans from the 5 speed then im good to not have a 100mph 3rd gear? haha

Alright awesome, and there are some people telling me I need to modify the shifter arm on the trans, is this true? I have the Z3 shifter arm assembly as well so I always can but I'm also hearing this about electrical reverse lockout and mechanical lockout and that I may need to wire in the electric lockout, care to shed light? Thanks again man I really appreciate the insight

Alright so all in all its pretty straight forward? It's actually going into an 04 ep3 so I can use my speed sensor from my 5speed trans since it's 04? And is swapping the vss ring a difficult task? And I'm aware of the modifications I need to perform on my oem shifter to get it to accept the new reverse and 6th gear, once again thanks for your input I really appreciate your help
