thanks everyone for the comments. we are unbiased and sell and install skunk2 products as well. we just happened to have these parts lying around as well as KON's willingness to let us test these products on his car. his engine took a beating today with over 20 dyno pulls

not to take anything away from the skunk2 manifold. maybe with a different set of cams, header maybe, it may pump out more. something perhaps that might take advantage of the larger shorter runners.

Nice dyno test there!

So far it back's up the previously seen dyno charts, not too good for Junk2 though.....

Finally! some conclusive evidence! pb16b/suja1 great work! To be honest though i kind of had a feeling it wasn't all it was hyped up to be just for the simple fact that skunk2 posted no dyno....when in fact they love to post dynos showing gains and claims etc etc...so in conclusion...
SKUNK2 MANIFOLD = OVERPRICED/OVERRATED!
good marketing technique on skunk2's behalf though as im sure many clowns bought into the hype and are now suckers! Patience is a virtue

it's a dyno dynamics dyno. a 230whp dyno dynamics car runs 11's all day where a 250whp dynapack car runs 12's all day. for reference, when this motor was weak, it made 255whp on a dynojet and made 220whp on this same dyno dynamics dyno.

another reference, a bone stock k20z1 made 160whp on our dyno.
another reference, a b18c1 with intake and exhaust made 145whp on our dyno.

I bet the guys over at Skunk2 are really scratching their heads attempting to come up with a spin to explain these results,,,LOL

Im sure they arent...they already knew the results...that's why they never posted a dyno sheet. I honestly feel that they knew their name would sell the product without a dyno test and with all marketing hype. a little clearance here, no adapter needed there and viola! s2 mani!

I think they either have a good spin to this or mr plenty is correct with the statement below.

They expected the manifold to sell on name/hype alone. Either way no one from sk2 is here to give an explanation for the manifold so!!!

Paper weight it is.

I'm down to send dick a few dollars since I am sure he wont be able to sell that manifold lmaooo
