Still testing these, but so far no complaints. Unfortunately, I can't give any release date just yet. If you are worried about your chain jumping teeth before this is released, my best advice is just to regularly check your tensioner for any of the wear I documented in the posts at the beginning of this thread. Hope that helps.

peace,
russ

Hey guys, I meant to post up about this a while back but haven't had the time. The tensioner is nearing completion. We've had the fortune to be able to do some testing with some well equipped drag cars and tuners. We actually have a spintron test scheduled in just a few weeks as well. This will involved taking most of the popular cams on the market and spinning them in a motor up to 10k, while monitoring valve train and timing chain motion with high speed cameras.

We are aiming to beging production in about 1 month.

I am not sure if it was a new motor, but he did run one of the prototypes in A motor. I believe he did a few pulls and made a few passes at the strip. He hasn't taken it out yet but said everything seemed to be working perfectly. He'll be running with it again at the IFO held at NPR in Donaldsonville, LA. We just pulled one that we've been abusing for a while out of our type S motor and we're going to throw it into a k24/k20 combo with skunk 2 stg 3 cams and ITB's. The prototypes seem to be working beautifully.

The tensioner is working awesome in the new motor. I've made arrangements to remove the tensioner for pictures and inspection this weekend.

We do not have a price set yet. We are in the process of getting quotes from our manufacturers though.
