Default Insane Shaft k swap axles

about 6 months ago i bought a set of Insaneshaft kswap axles, they were doing good until two nights ago one of them snapped in half. the vehicle im using it on is a kswapped integra all motor thats making less than 300whp. when i bought the axles from autofair honda it said on the details that it's rated for 500whp. this was the 3rd pass i made on these axles and they had me stuck on the starting line. my question is will they cover this under their warranty? i mean this is kinda bullshit because i thought they were a good brand get, i guess not.

I would contact the company you bought them from. If it was Autofair, I know they'll do the best they can for you.

Tell me how you're launching. (Clutch and gas pedal sequence...e-brake, etc)

Just out of curiosity, what size slicks?

i contacted mike from insaneshafts, as far as launching it was set up at 4700rpm via kpro , i used the e-brake to keep car in place and basically let the clutch off quickly and continue with gas, i was not on slicks just street ratials- kumho exta xs. i was really surpirsed these axles broke. hopefully mike will help me out, if not its probably gonna be time for Drive shaft shop.

Wow.....axle snap with radials on a mild set up is kinda crazy. Hopefully things work out.

IMO preloading the clutch a tiny bit while using the ebrake to hold the car back is easier on the drivetrain. Not as much of a jolt to the system.

We have been out all weekend at Honda Day and I just got home, all you have to do is call or email us. No need to start a thread without contacting us first. I'm supposed to be off tomorrow but that isn't going to happen, too much to catch up on, give me a call tomorrow late afternoon (after 5pm) 603-634-0641. The best way to see if a part is covered under warranty is to contact the company you bought the part from. If I'm not there for some reason you can also ask for Colin. We will get this taken care of

Thanks to Mike from (Insane shaft) and Ryan from (autofair honda) the new axle is on it's way under warranty. These guys are awesome and great customer service. Hopefully i'll have better experience with this one!
