Have a couple small things to update on while im still waiting for my wastegate flange and wastegate to arrive. Still haven't figured out which injectors i'll be using either but once the wastegate stuff arrives i can mock up the motor in the car and get all of the piping done.

Just going to be using a 70mm Edelbrock that i got from the guys at http://sflautosports.com

I made up a plate with a -16AN fitting for the inlet for my water pump. Not going to be using a thermostat anymore and needed the fitting to feed into the radiator.

Also shaved the oem breather off of the valve cover and added a -16AN fitting off the back of it. There's a little ramp on the inside of the valve cover so i put the fitting behind it to prevent oil from flicking off the cams and filling the breather tank. If it doesn't work i'll have to add a dam in there. The fitting came out of our spare parts bin so it's a little haggard but will work fine.

I'm just learning how to weld so it's not the prettiest thing ever

Finally gave it a coat of VHT wrinkle black to hide my welds lol.

Now i'm using base model rsx axles.

I don't have a conversion harness, i just wired it all up myself using aftermarket relays for the fuel pump and ecu. I'm putting an s2000 cluster in the car this time around but still trying to find plugs for it.

Dam that turbo looks really big so does that intake manifold.
It's a win win if you ask me.i like!
So what are you gonna do with the intercooler? I'm pretty sure
it's gonna be big, but DA's have a small front bumper.
You gonna cut?

yeah im cutting most of the front metal out to fit the intercooler and radiator.

I'm not cutting the bumper cover on the outside, only behind it.

I really wish i could raise the motor up a bit to get some ground clearance. Here's a better pic to see how little ground clearance i have.

I got the front crossmember removed so i could start fitting the intercooler.

The original plan was to do a dual backdoor setup but i think im just going to do the pass side now. Now that i see how much room there is between the alternator and intercooler, i can't do the radiator setup that i wanted and will probably just use an aftermarket Scirocco radiator or something like that.

I also started cleaning up my headlights which were looking really horrible. The plan there is to sand them down and then clear coat.

Nice Kevin! I love seeing your progress! You should do more documenting with pictures. It's useful for you to look back on and helps others in the future. Just a thought.

I'm learning how to tig weld aluminum so the progress is slow. Made the intercooler mounting bracket, drivers side charge pipe and finished modifying the end tank on the intercooler.

waiting for more supplies to mount wastegate
