Have a look at JayDee's thread and it covers what AccordK24 thinks is the main reason for these snapping.

Poor belt tension and the hard cut rev limiters seem to be the culprit.

I'm still going turbo on my K20/24 engine, but if we get poor results then maybe a Rotrex maybe in my future

i'm reving my k24 to 7800 138mm cp, 95mm bp. i see about 16psi and 480hp fly with a new well flowing tts intercooler. my old intercooler with 148mm cp made 16psi and only 440hp.
Awesome results, is that running a stock K24 head too?
