Default Tucking Fuel Pressure Regulator and Return Line

I know most people who want a returnless fuel rail or "tucked" fuel system have a line going from the pump to the FPR, and the from there a line going to the fuel rail that dead-ends, and a line that returns to the tank.

Rather than having both lines and FPR in the engine bay, could i tuck the FPR (and return line) somewhere in the cabin/wheel well/etc and only have the line that flows from the FPR to the rail in the engine bay?

**i know the wheel well might not be the best place, just using it as an example...**

I dont see why you cant. I wouldnt run it inside the cabin of your car tho cause I dont think thats legal if you were to take it to a track. I've heard its better to have it as close as you can to the rail cause the closer it is the more accurate it is. Keep us posted with pics when you do decide to tuck it, its always cool to see what people come up with

Il have to find out for sure the track legality of running fuel in the cabin.

But besides that, can anyone offer a little more information about weither or not its good or bad to have the FPR a little further away from the rail?? My K20Z1 will also be supercharged, might i have any more fuel problems than i would have with the "usual" in-bay FPR set-up? Or does pressure stay up over about an extra 2 feet of fuel line?

If you run a fuel pressure gauge on the rail and make sure its the right pressure you'll be fine
