I just came up with the name for the thread. Its mainly becuase I am reusing the K10s, ITB's, and some other things. No real meaning

If you can post it up I would like to see it
That run I let off in 4th, I don't have a cage yet and didn't know how fast the car would go and it would suck to get kicked off the track on my first run.

Ill post it, i didnt get the whole run. only about half, it was on my gf's digital camera and it ran out of memory half way through the race so it probably only shows 1-3 and maybe a little of 4th gear. Congrats on the 11.5 though, i wish i would of seen it.

Do you plan on putting in a cage or no? I plan on doing a similar build as to your new one but with lower compression and maybe kXV or K10's. Im not getting a cage but im hoping that my coupe will be capable of sub 11's, although i wont be able to find out at the track

Yeah I definitely plan on getting a cage. Its actually already on order and I will have it in before the woodburn race.

you should just strap the car on the same dyno that u used for the first motor, to see the actual gains. even tho u said this dynapack doesnt read high, all dynos will read different. its possibe the gains arent as huge as it seems, which would explain the trap speed situation somewhat. that is insane power though none the less.

I might try and see if I can get it back on the original dyno for comparisons

Oh and this car isn't my daily driver, but I used to drive it alot on the street with the K10's and less power and they were prefectly fine, I had those and ITB's on the street and the car still idled just under 1000. I also have a set of cams called the K2 Stoker cams which are K2's with K10 nonvtec lobes and I used to drive those on the street alot and they were fine too.

very nice.

i was wondering because i putting together a high compression motor together and was making sure the k10's wouldn't mess up my motor daily driving it lol

thanks for the help
