The Street / Race battery, which is 11.5lbs, produces over 900 cranking amps. A conventional battery produces slightly more.
The benefit is really the weight, saving up to 30lbs. They have enough power to start any engine, just extended periods of cranking would wear it out a bit faster than normal. So, to answer your question.. yes, it would be able to handle it.

Conventional battery would be something for a normal, or mid sized car.
These have enough power to crank your car.
