What do I say... It's verrrrrryyyy nice! You must have almost as much time in creating a fantastic documentary as you do building the car..almost.

Thanks for sharing.

Great job!

Yeah, a garage is a key factor when getting this deep into a car. The fact I could just leave everything as is / shut the door saved so much time

Thanks dude! Yeah, a lot of time spent in this thread, but it's worth it!! Got to look out for the rest of the K family. Nothing like free info!! I remember back in the day when doing my GSR swap the info avialable was sketchy... I even asked a local guy who was supposed to be the $hit with Honda swaps. He was like, "I can't tell you that." What a douche bag!!

Session 053 - September 12, 2007

Arrived home from work ready to do some real work

New hood prop holder:

EP3 pulley setup:

Installing:

IAT sensor installed:

Almost there:

Session 054 - September 13, 2007

$hitiest day for the build. Rainy and this is the day I sat on the phone for hours with Will of Hybrid Racing trouble shooting the conversion harness. Awesome service from HR ...and found out the problem was the relay was popped due to solder on a couple wires causing a short That day I actually gave up on the swap and my father and brother had to talk me back into working on the car again.

Not many pics because it was just one $hity day!!

BEFORE the problems arrived:

Half shaft bolts:

SneezinCD5 finishing her up:

Session 055 - September 14, 2007

Steering wheel hardware:

SneezinCD5 painted the valve cover:

SneezinCD5 painting the rear hatch at 4am (day of the show)

I think we slept 2-3 hours that morning and were back at it putting the final touches before the show:

Washing her:

Soooooo tired:

That concludes the NOPI build up pics!!

Thanks for checking out my build thread

Yay! I'm happy now. So, what sort of paint did you use on the calipers? I'm thinking of doing gold as well. Or at least silver. Might as well do them while they're off the car.

I would guess 8k in $$$$$. The paint alone cost me a couple hundred, which is typically about 4k

It's actually a Auto Zone intake, lol. Just a plastic expandable tubing that IMO worked out really well

Yeah, the moldings were left out in the 1/4 glass. I think it looks just as clean and will leave them off. Wight reduction I'll get some pics for you as well Thanks for the props!!

How big was the passenger that was recording the video? Looks like the car he was in always lost, lol, must have been a weight advantage for the other car!

Awesome build man, been reading this off and on forever. If you mentioned it I must have missed it, but do you have any idea what your car weighs?
