That is flawless, amazing work. Midori Green + EH2 = amazing. Funny fact about Midori Green, did you know Midori is Japanese for Green? So Midori green infact actually means "Green Green"

No, I never even thought of it until I read the comment. I chuckled when I read it too

Here are some pics of me cleaning the filthy cabin harness. Did some rewrapping, but decided not to delete and wires/harness at this time. I may go back after the swap is complete and delete the wires that are not needed....

So, you start will a pile of $hit:

Get your tools and elbow grease going:

Back of the driver side under dash fuse box:
(first time seeing this for me)

The plugs to the fuse box:

Like I said, it was in need of this cleaning:

Now it's ready to see my hatch:

Left = clean / Right = filth:

Time to start removing the old wore tape and replacing with the new stuff:

Removed a lot of the clips that are not needed:

What the **** is this Honda:

Before:

After:

I will be relocating the ECU (kpro). OEM:

Apart:

Looking better:

Complete:

That's all for now. LOTS more to come

Less than two weeks, man you've really got a lot of work to do. If you have time once it's together, try and make a photo album of the build for the show. What class are you entering it in?

It will be in the Elite class which I thought was another section. Wish I would of just went with the brown section

I took it upon myself to find a hose for the deletion of the a/c & heat. Basically a loop hose for the coolant line off the head that connects to the thermostat housing line.....

The hose cost $8.99 from the local Autozone. You can order it online --> HERE

Before the install:

Installed on a 2003 K20a2 motor:

You will need a clamp for the hose connection on the head (right). The connection on the left is VERY tight and should be fine without a clamp. Of course a clamp would never hurt.....

Thanks for looking

Thanks guys for the props

HASport Hardware:

Here are the bolts with each labeled with their size:

The nuts and washers:

Tranny mount in place:

Also, there must be mulitple versions of the EGK1 mounts. As you can see the mount already has the notch (spacer) in place to allow the mount to sit even:

Going to remove the studs and replace with bolts in the near future. Got to get her running now.....

Thanks for looking and more to come

Is there any benefit to switching studs to bolts? Like weight/space savings, corrosion issues or anything?

I'm trying to recall instances in which this crossed my mind... I encountered studs when removing my exhaust manifold... With the studs, you can hang the gasket and header. I can't recall if I switched to bolts. Another time was when I had to extract the studs from my RBC intake manifold so that the throttle body adapter could be mounted.

How are you removing the studs? I used two bolts that I tightened to each other (torqued tighter against the bolts than the stud was to the block/manifold).

I think it's just an appearance thing when it comes to studs vs. bolt heads. Yeah, I hear the 2 nuts in the middle work nicely

Ha! For how large Hasport is and how much of the import engine mount manufacturing they put out, I am VERY disappointed with their quality. My father who is an aircraft engineer with a business Jet manufacture (Gulfstream Aerospace) could not believe the poor quality of the engine mounts. From cracks on the mounts, to the $hitty welds, to the spatter all over the mounts..... he gives the mounts
