Like the title says, I'm tired of seeing all the "what do I need for this" etc. posts, and I really just hate saying "Search, you'll find answers." While the answers ARE out there they aren't 100% easy to find. I found them on the site, but I've also looked for a while.

This is what you want, THE K20/24 SWAP PARTS LIST. Items are also loosely categorized and are meant to be the cheapest possible way to complete the swap. Please keep in mind this may not be 100% accurate to what you want to accomplish but it's damn close! Here it is!

This should be absolutely EVERYTHING you need to complete a K20/24 swap, Minor variances will be there as this list is meant for an EG only because It's what I own :silly: However it should be 95% of what you need for EK/DC2 as well.

That should be it, Correct me if you see something wrong. Hopefully, this stops all the "Zomg what do I needz" posts...

about time! good job froth! make sure you update the thread with info as it comes in. and always remember you have to list everything dummy proof..

ps .. sticky'd!
Yeah, Dummy proofing is always good:silly:

If your transmission comes with one you dont, if it doesn't come with one then there's no way to activate the clutch. It's something you need.

#16 ·
I wasn't listing them all, just the most popular ones people use for swaps. Thank you for the suggestion though, I'm glad people are being scrutinous with this as it helps make sure it's as close to perfect as possible :)

I'm a little confused about this. Can you explain?

Basically, you're taking your current power steering lines and looping them together so they run back into the rack. This keeps debris and crap from getting in the rack, keeps it lubed and basically turns it into a Manual rack. You can also simply remove all the lines and plug the holes, I know a few people who have just removed the lines leaving the holes open and had zero issues for 2+ years with the rack. All depends on how you feel/your tastes.

Awesome, thank you. And for the fuel set you listed, the lines, fittings, regulator, etc., I priced it all together at Summit as you had listed and it came out to around $250 without the Walbro pump. Just a figure for a complete fuel setup if anyone wanted to know. Bout the cheapest way out

The Walbro pump is not an absoloute need, but I'm doing it as a precaution and would reccomend it to everyone else.

The parts list you provided for the fuel lines; what kind of setup is that for? For example, like fuel filter-----fuel rail----fpr---return or what? I guess, like what kind of setup are you running since this is from your build?

#22 ·
Using the stock fuel filter, Then the fittings going from the filter to the FPR, then a line going from the FPR to the Fuel rail(stock rail) and another line from the return on the FPR to the stock return line on the car.

Most aftermarket radiators used are either all Aluminum OEM replacement units, or RSX-S Radiators with mounts Fabricated to fit. The fan I listed for use on the stock Radiator would work on any of the OEM replacement units aswell.
