I haven't seen this officially brought up and haven't heard much discussion, or maybe I haven't looked in the right places, but it's been on my mind for a while.
I see a lot of K24/K20 frankenstein builds where guys are using the A2 oil pump. In fact, the majority of them I have read about are setup like this.
I also know that when you remove the old oil pump to swap the A2 pump on you're also removing the countershafts that operate the old pump.
I'm wondering how this affects the balance in the K24/K20 frank since the countershafts are put in place to help maintain balance in the stock K24? Or what one might do to correct any imbalances?
Any input would be great.
