So the tsx transmission had an obx lsd and was told that the whole thing was in excellent working condition decided to take a look at it. Second gear was not in good shape at all so i ordered a new one from Honda. Also ordered carbon synchos. Then had the whole gear set cryo treated
This is one of the spring washers i pulled out of the lsd

Deburred the entire part and also had it treated

Some of the pictures are blurry because i got oil on my camera but you get the idea

Test fitting wheels

Wheels are 16x9 plus 30 from fifteen52 that's a lot of wheel under there going to be cutting the car at all 4 corners and running a square set up

Looking good! I'm actually digging the color choice. What's your engine setup if you don't mind me asking?

It's a jdm k24a 200hp version that I'm gonna leave stock internally with all bolt ons. Just gonna do the bullet proofing like the chain tensioner and guide a2 oil pump

Here is the transmission and assembly, got it all assembled after a few hiccups. Hopefully it lasts, all of the internals are cryo treated and syncros are carbon lined all new bearings and seals.

Little more update on fitment. Got rear extended studs installed and wheel bolted up with forged lugs. Doesn't look like it will need to be cut too much. Over all i like the look hopefully i can get her to handle like a dream

Here's a bunch of parts collected up. Header was ceramic coated to try to keep heat out of the engine bay. Suspension is ground control custom with calculations valveing and spring rates to match the car. Skunk 2 manifold with an arizona flag no free advertisement

Unfortunately the previous owner did not weld the cage hot enough so it has to be redone, I'm in the process of grinding it all down to reweld it

Well the cage is not very much fun to work on so i decided to change the pace up and do a little fitment and parts painting. The radiator is custom made and fitted to the car the previous owner did a great job on it all it needs is the top posts welded on. Extended studs installed.

Well the time came to start the engine bullet proofing, i did a time lapse of the tear down but unfortunately the resemble didn't fit on the camera. I installed a a2 oil pump a circuit hero timing chain guide and a skunk 2 timing chain tensioner. Then sealed it all up with a moroso baffled oil pan.

Here's a little more progress, had to pull the oil pan back off so decided to paint it. Also painted my valve cover, Painted outside so it got a little dirty. cleaned up the balancer and installed the ac power steering delete which required me to replace the water pump housing. for some reason JDM ks aren't the same. Then put the oil cooler waffle on routing on the lines is going to be interesting since it has to make a U turn I'll just have to figure that out later.
