What was the porting task (valve seat, valve size, partly port wall or...)? What are the measurements of a stock K20A2 engine on that dyno? Just for my comparison

It is Pro TSX head from 4piston, with 36/30 valves.
Dyno I was using usually show around 196 hp on European EP3 k20a and about 200 hp on FN2.

Thanks for the information about the head and the dyno reference measurements to get the numbers sorted.

Pretty nice result, molodoi!

Great result zof484!

You did partely prove what I wanted to verificate with my project. I know there are some more modifications needed for it, but it shows the K20 Allmotor is able to reach more than 16 bar of BMEP (around 130 Nm/L of an 86x86 engine) and not only peak-wise.

An amaizing result man!

What do you mean by 98 fuel? Do you mean rated according ROZ, MOZ or AON = (ROZ + MOZ) / 2?

So you mean 98 ROZ, which is called Super or Super Plus here in the South?

Zof484, could you state the torque values for following engine speeds?
  • 4500
  • 6500
  • 7500
I would appreciate it. I am just curious how much of mine engine project aim you have already reached.

I couldn't resist to analyze the torque line a bit:
  • BMEP of 16+ bar from 5250-8000 rpm, about 2750 rpm broad
  • Seems to be the engine runs the Schrick cams of K20 engine no. 14
  • Seems to be the further torque win is done within further head modification and the ITB's, which are seemingly well designed
I am not sure if the win on top is done, in addition of the ITB's, with an e-coolant pump or further improvement of the head, as the win around 10 Nm from 4500 rpm and above.

Exciting stuff...need to dive in it at the weekend . Are we at K20 No. 18 or 19? Anyway it is the best of that row

Cams are different and alot of work is done to the head.

E pump is also added to setup.

4500 230nm
6500 265nm
7500 265nm

Thanks zof484, I already analyzed it. That torque line reaching a level my 1D engine simulation (and hopfully my engine built too) reaches with a certain setup too, just a bit broader from 4.5-8.5 krpm. We talked about it back in Oct. '15, now your engine showed it is possible to reach more than 130 Nm/l over a wider revving band. That's great, man!

It is seemingly a level, where it is not smart to talk about it in details. That's a pitty...
