I would like to know if anybody got their hands on a RSP intake manifold? Did you test it against a RBC intake manifold?

The RSP intake manifold is a three piece design that has much longer runners (about 2.5" longer) and a slightly bigger plenum than the RBC intake manifold. It is basically an improved design of the RBB (TSX) manifold, since it produces great top end power as well.

I'm very interested on how this would do on a mildly modded k24a2 setup. I think it would really shine even more so than on a 2.0, considering the similarly shaped RBB was designed specifically for the k24a2.

Anyone in chicago have one? I've got the engine setup

Otherwise great thread with great info. nice job boys

I assume you mean intake manifold? not intake

the adapter plate will work with 04-05 tsx IM's but not 06+ as they don't have provisions for iacv, the tsx IM is good for torque but not good for peak power

you'll have to cut the waterneck off just like the RBC/RSP/RRC if you are bolting it to a k20a2 head

:) i always thought the DC2 was the best chassis for the 101-103 wheel base honda builds. good luck with that. another K motor car?

does anyone else have pictures of the rsp bored out to 70mm TB? I think I now know why Spoon Sports has an exchange program. The appears to be a lack of material in some areas. I might have to add material by welding in a few areas

this is one of the thin areas

No holes here, seemed fine to me.

Using a RSX-S TB on a K20A2 so my IACV solution involved JB Weld and cutting a notch.

:Results: RSP loses in the mid-range and gains up top
Andy, to clarify this was vs a RBB correct? Got my RBB welded back up after porting but a quick test fit shows the wiring harness might not fit since the upturned neck and adapters puts the TB so far away. Just waiting on my injectors to come back from cleaning now. Good luck on the one lap.

Thanks,
Jeff
