View Full Version : Intake for K20 / "EG"?
Is there an aftermarket intake that will work with a k20 / "EG" swap, or will i just have to fab something myself?

yup thats the one. Im hoping to get the motor in within 2 weeks depending on when the kit comes in for install. Then I can tell you the fitment of it. It looks like it should fit without any problems.

Im just waiting on the kit for install and parts that were missing from the swap purchase.
Once I get that just needs to be installed. Im ready once parts get here.
The Right Coast...LOL..

It would be much cheaper to make your own and since it's literally just a straight tube, I can't see any kind of drop in performance from a DIY. If it were a cold-air design I'd definately be ready to get it, but I'll stick to a K&N cone filter and a length of tubing, thanks 8) .

Rec'd the intake today.
Its only the end piece that fits inside the filter and the filter.
The filter has about a 6-8 inch diameter. Its friggin HUGE.
I still have to get a straight pipe welded together from the throttle body.
I can post pics if anyone is interested.

Who's mount kit is that on the yellow eg?
Those billet mounts look nice.
Also K20EG........when are u going to release your line of cold air intakes and header?
any prices u can throw out for you cold air intake and header?
Or would it be good to modify a cold air intake from aem or injen?
thanx
