Finally, some inroads to programmable ECUs for the Accords / CL7 / EuroR has been achieved.
All along, we were unable to fully harness the power from the K20A in the JDM EuroR as we were unable to control the fuel injection system in that car; as their cluster and some other ancillaries of the fuel injection system were controlled by the stock ECU. Previously, when we tried to hook up a KPro to the car, it would drive the engine, but the cluster, air-conditioning, reverse lock out, etc would not work. The car does however gain an immediate increase in power (from the tuned KPro).
But now, we are able to make the KPro work with the EuroR with every original feature from the stock car working. An additional wire harness has to be added to the car and 2 ECUs ran in conjunction with each other. The stock ECU to control all the niceties.... and another additional DC5 ECU (with KPro or K100) for programmability of the fuel injection system.
I am unsure if it will work with the CRV, element, TSX, or any other hondas, as i do not have these cars in my market. But would be willing to help in anyway i can if there are any questions.
Now, finally, my customer who has got a built motor in his EuroR would be tune the ECU to suit his engine and unleash the power!!
