I understand that you need to run the cable linkage through to the tranny. When you drill the hole for the linkage (i read somewhere) that you need to be very carefull not to hit the main wiring in the frame. Is there a different way to do this? Or any tricks for doing it? I haven't seen this discussed in a while.

You see the middle of the fire wall the low spot? (The 2 long black wires) To be exact you run it to the transmission it does not go through it. There is no main wiring there except for the climate control harness.

I cut a hole below the Heater core lines. about 4-5 inches.

Looking inside the car I went flush with tunnel. Worked great.

Cut a hole about 2x3.
